Edinburgh University Korfball Club

Edinburgh Uni Korfball 1st team have enjoyed a 100% start to the season, winning 5 of 5, scoring 82 baskets in the process and only conceding 12. However they would face their toughest challenge yet at St Leonard’s on Monday night when they faced off against league rivals St Andrews

It was clear from the North and South qualifying tournaments that every team had upped their game and were out to impress at this years BUCS. Edinburgh successfully achieved a seeded position from their qualifiers placing them in group D with Birmingham, Leeds and Lancaster.

The events of the 27th of November will definitely live on in many of the EUKC 1st team memories for years to come. Northerns set the scene for teams to get a first glimpse of their opponents for The British University Nationals in March but before those championships, 9 teams
