If the club no longer has it, you’ll be amused to know we used to have a ‘Shooting Training’ session at 7.15am in Pleasance. Yeah, I know… But people actually turned up!

I’ve always seen this as an open session for people to do what they want. It’s a great time to work one to one with an individual’s shooting, or practice a team’s free passes etc.

But there’s massive potential to do things with this session that’ll encourage attendance, and make it worth getting up for, rather than a chore. Prizes, competitions, music (essential).

Just don’t be too harsh about making people turn up for it – getting up at 6.30am isn’t always fun. And if it’s not fun, you’re not doing it right…
